Asturias was composed by a leader of the Spanish Nationalist School of Musicians for the guitar. It was written to reflect the Andalusian or Flamenco style of music of southern Spain despite being named after a town of northern Spain.

Composer - Steve Vai
Music for Small Ensembles
Steve Vai is a three-time Grammy Award winner and fifteen-time nominee. He has recorded and toured with Alcatrazz, David Lee Roth, Witesnake and Ozzy Osbourne. Die to Live is a song from his solo works. Consisting of a drum, electric guitar and bass it is a small esemle piece, unlike most of his works.

Elective #3: Performance - Cry of Achilles

Cry of Achilles is one of Alter Bridges' most celebrated works, featuring on Guitar Hero Live and had developed a following from Alter Bridge fans. Genero TV held a competition for the music video to be created by the public. The solo from Cry of Achilles has been named better than solos by Guns and Roses and Bon Jovi by 'Guitarists'.
