My composition was inspired by the definition of it's title - "lasting for a very short time." My piece is prominently based in a minor tonality, representing treachery. But in the very final section, it modulates to a major tonality, representing joy. This shows how sadness will only "last for a very short time" until happiness succeeds.
​

Creep was originally written for the rock band Radiohead, but I played an arrangement of the piece for flute and piano. This seemingly enhanced the emotional connotations of the original piece through the expressive playing and connection between the flute and piano.
