Mrs Kelly Evans Acting T&L Director

The Major Design Project involves students selecting and applying appropriate design, production and evaluation skills to a product, system or environment which satisfies an identified need or opportunity. Students are able to work with any material or a combination of materials to produce this item. Students have developed a wide range of skills and knowledge in the Preliminary course and in the HSC course are able to select and use those skills and knowledge appropriate to their selected project.

The students relate the techniques and technologies used in industrial and commercial settings to those used in the development of design projects. Students develop prototypes before settling on a final design, and once completed they must evaluate their final product , system or environment based on their own criteria of success.

Congratulations to Year 12 2020 on successfully completing Year 12 !!! I am really proud of your sustained efforts over the year, to produce such a diverse range of projects. I wish you all the very best in your future and hope that you stay in touch.
